With nearly a decade of hands-on experience in cybersecurity, Thomas brings deep technical knowledge and real-world perspective to every course he teaches. As the founder of the Innovation Hackathon — the first of its kind at Northern Virginia Community College — and a longtime instructor in higher education, he’s passionate about making cybersecurity accessible, engaging, and practical.

Thomas founded CyberGuardian after seeing too many students get lost in overcrowded, impersonal courses. His mission? To deliver small, live, instructor-led classes that prioritize mentorship, hands-on learning, and real career outcomes. His approach is simple: no fluff, no overwhelm — just real guidance, support, and preparation for success in the Security+ exam and beyond.
