It was an honor learning from Mr Thomas during my years at NOVA community college. He not only taught about the material for the course, but he shared life advice too, which us as students found extremely interesting. Before class started he was punctual and after the time for class ended, Mr Thomas stuck around to keep offering advice, help people with homework, and be an ally to any student requests.

Thomas had made a positive outlook on my life. I met Thomas back in college where I was lost and struggling to find motivation to go to school and my classes. Thomas took me aside and helped me regain my confidence in my academic abilities. He took the time to understand my struggles and provided guidance that went beyond just coursework—he genuinely cared about my success. His passion for teaching was evident in every class.

Thomas is very knowledgeable, humble, and excellent to work with. He has the great ability to explain complex cyber security intricacies in a way that makes sense to anybody.

Thomas has been the best professor I have had while attending Northern Virginia Community College. He consistently demonstrates a full commitment to all of his student's success. As an example, he reserves time slots for student meetings after his full-time job to ensure his students fully comprehend the content he has presented and assigned. Also, his teaching style and congenial personality make his lectures easy to follow. If I could take all of my classes with Thomas, I would. I can't recommend him enough for any teaching position.

Professor Thomas is one of the BEST PROFESSOR you can have ever. He has a world of knowledge and he knows the material. He's also willing to explain things if you didn't quite get them. He does everything he can to help you. He lays out a very clear and well-thought-out path for you and provides regular real-world experience.

Professor Mitchell is truly one of the best professors Ive ever had. Hes intelligent, and inspires you to push yourself. I took Linux with him, and yes there was a lot of work. BUT, that work helped me truly learn the material. He set us up for success. He is an amazing person. Kind, caring, respectful, intelligent, and more. I could keep going!

Professor Mitchell is by far the best professor I have had at NOVA. Never met a professor who wants the students to succeed more than he does. Very nice, very caring, an overall fun guy. If you are having trouble with anything, just ask and he will gladly help you! If you have the opportunity to take him, please do!!

He does give a lot of homework, professor Mitchell does go well beyond my other professors. He brought in a class speaker. He also has us do a lot of hands on labs. He is very approachable and treats his students with the utmost respect. He is most easily reached by email, which is responded to promptly. He is definitely one of the best
